Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a branch of dentistry to correct a wide spectrum of diseases, injuries and hard and soft tissue defects in the head and neck region. It is a recognized international surgical specialty.

The department maintains separate undergraduate and postgraduate operatories, a dedicated minor oral surgery clinic, computerized records, and access to a 20-bed inpatient ward in KVG Medical College.

Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
Dental graduates develop advanced endodontic and esthetic dentistry skills through clinical literature, supervised patient care, modern rotary systems, and evidence-led treatment planning.
Established in 1991, the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at KVG Dental College and Hospital, Sullia, has stood for over three decades as a centre of clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care.
The course is designed for dental graduates who intend to pursue endodontics and restorative dentistry, including training in esthetic dentistry. It builds the knowledge and clinical judgment needed to approach problems scientifically and deliver advanced endodontic care.
