01 · Central Library

Print collections, reading rooms, and study support.

  • 01 The Central Library is situated on the top floor of the institute, occupying an area of 5008 sq. mtrs. with seating for 350 students at a time and a picturesque view of the campus.
  • 02 The collection has more than 5000 books, 80 national and international journals dating back two decades, 1708 bound back volumes of journals, and 99 CD-ROMs.
  • 03 Separate reading rooms are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff.
  • 04 Separate study rooms, an audiovisual room, and restrooms are available for girls and boys.
  • 05 A book bank facility is available for economically poor and minority students.
  • 06 A Xerox facility is available.
  • 07 Weekdays: 9.00 AM to 10.00 PM
  • 08 Sundays and holidays: 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM

02 · E-Library & Internet

Digital journals, e-books, and round-the-clock internet access.

  • 01 The e-library has a high-speed internet connection for access to HELINET, the RGUHS, Bangalore consortium of e-books and e-journals.
  • 02 The internet section consists of 20 computers attached to the Central Library, with round-the-clock internet access for students and staff.
  • 03 Postgraduate departments also have departmental libraries with round-the-clock access.
