Founder President

Late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda

The educationist remembered as the architect of modern Sullia.

A son of the soil with the courage to build, Dr. KVG chose Sullia as the centre of an educational movement. Beginning with Nehru Memorial College in 1976, his work grew into a network of more than 35 institutions across Kurunjibag.

His legacy joins ambition with public purpose: expanding access to education, strengthening rural communities, and turning a small town into a recognised learning destination.

KVG Dental College and Hospital is the first health institute of our visionary the Founder President Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda. I thank almighty and Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda for blessing us and granting the strength to carry forward his legacy. "Live lively, serve kindly" is the motto. KVG Dental College and Hospital imparts education with modern technology, preserving cultural heritage. I am happy that today, KVG Dental College has transformed into one of the premier Institute of our country.
I feel fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff both teaching and non teaching who tirelessly work under the able leadership of dynamic Principal. Our alumni are scattered across the globe and have brought fame to themselves and to their alma mater.
Today as I look back in retrospect, the journey over 28 years of KVG Dental College, I say thanks to all of you who have been a part of this journey. I invite you to visit the KVG Dental College and Hospital, Sullia, bea part of our family and enjoy the scenic beauty of the campus.
